The road winds up the hillside with a panoramic view of the Lefka Ori, eastward to Rodovani, a village famous for its honey since ancient times: at the site of Eliros (located at the exit of the village on the right when descending to Sougia) have been discovered coins engraved with bees. Eliros was a particularly important center in Roman times. Nowadays: move on..., there is nothing special to see. For authentic period stones, go instead to Lissos. Rodovani is a rural village with a kafeneion at the crossroads of the road to Temenia, Kandanos or to Paleohora via Azogires.
