A typical rural village, located at a high altitude, in the middle of fields of olive trees several hundred years old. A small river cascades down under tall trees where it is particularly pleasant to soak in the heat. Two caves (Charakas and Soures), the monastery of the 99 Saints and its museum, a plane tree that never loses its leaves, and two kafeneia-tavernas in the center of the village (in rivalry since... nobody knows anymore). The village festival takes place on October 7 with music and dance in the two kafeneia after a ceremony in the church. Beautiful walks can be made in the surroundings by mule tracks.
