Protected from the winds of the north by the heights of the hinterland, the village of «Almádi», situated in a circus of slopes planted with vines, is a popular family station due to its rapid access (one hour) from Budapest. Its beautiful beach extending over 8 km, surrounded by red sandstone hills, is also frequented by the inhabitants of Veszprém (12 km). In the suburbs of the small town is the Protestant church of Vörösberény (th century), the same style as the fortified churches of Transylvania.
