After the Coto Brus valley, the small town of San Vito, a few kilometers from the Panamanian border, is a pleasant stopover in a cool valley located at an altitude of over 900 meters, between La Amistad park (shared with Panama) and the Wilson botanical garden. The small town on a slope is recent since it was founded in 1950 by a group of Italians whose presence is still clearly perceptible. In addition to being a place where you can study Italian, San Vito is the only place from which you can easily travel around the region. Although not very touristy, the surrounding area offers a pleasant stay with many activities
