A seaside resort with a multitude of beaches set in a splendid landscape. The narrow streets of the town center are lined with friendly boutiques and trendy cafés. In the evening, at passeggiata time, visitors and locals gather in via del Mare or piazza Gramsci. But it's the area around Villasimius that really deserves your attention. Capo Carbonara offers splendid views of the islands of Cavoli and Serpentara, in the heart of a protected marine area. By car, allow an hour from Cagliari. The 101 bus runs ten times a day in high season (1h10 and between €3 and €5 per journey).
