Day 1: Cagliari

Steps: Ozieri, Cagliari

Once in Cagliari, pick up your rental car at the airport. Visit of the historical district of Castello in the centre of Cagliari, the capital of the island, with its cathedral, bastion and towers. Then on to the archaeological museum for a proper visit, followed by the picture gallery. Dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city centre

Day 2: Cagliari

Steps: Cagliari

This second day in Cagliari will be dedicated to the visit of San Michele Park and its superb castle. After lunch, we will head to the Poetto beach for a relaxing afternoon

Day 3: Villasimius

Steps: Quartu Sant'Elena, Villasimius

Take the panoramic road on the coast of Quartu Sant'Elena towards Villasimius, providing a few stops to take photos. Once you reach Villasimius, explore the city centre and the port, before you head to the beach. Evening in the many restaurants and clubs of the city.

Day 4: Pula and its surroundings

Steps: Giorgino, Pula, Chia, Cagliari

Before reaching Pula, about 40 km from Cagliari, make a gourmet stop in the small fishing village of Giorgino. Once in Pula, visit the archaeological museum, which houses important archaeological finds from the Punic and Roman civilizations in Sardinia. Not far from Pula, you will find Nora and the ruins of the Roman city, as well as a beautiful beach. Last stop of the day: Chia, 15 km from Pula. Here you can choose between the beaches of Su Giudeu and Baia Chia, or a walk to the Spanish Tower

Day 5: Islands of Sant'Antioco and San Pietro

Steps: Sant'Antioco, Calasetta, Carloforte, Cagliari

Early wake up to take the hour of road which separates you from the island of Sant'Antioco, accessible by car. Visit of Sant'Antioco Island and Calasetta Harbour, then lunch on the spot. In the afternoon, take the boat towards the sponge town of Carloforte on the splendid island of San Pietro. Visit of the coasts and the city. Night on the island before resuming the road from Cagliari.
