Arbus is about fifteen kilometres from Fluminimaggiore and, even if this village is not really worth the detour, it holds a very important place in Sardinian folklore. Arbus is one of the few villages where artisanal cutlery is still made. It gave its name to a type of knife, the arbuse, which can be recognized by its wide and curved blade. Paolo Pusceddu makes these knives and his models are on display in his shop, which also serves as a museum. The patron saint's day, which is held around 15 June, is a colourful festival in period folk costumes. The inhabitants celebrate Saint Anthony of Padua.
