Travel Guide Donoussa – Stavros

Welcome to Donoussa! Here you will reside on the port, well surrounded. Some taverns offer fresh fish and ouzo to spend the evening. You can swim without fear near the port, at the sandy beach of Stavros, the favorite of families. Then, to discover isolated beaches, you will have to walk.Donoussa offers its visitors a family welcome, beautiful walking routes, beautiful beaches and absolute peace and quiet. The beach of Kedros is a 15 minute walk from the port. The bus also stops there, but a gravel path leads down to this large stretch of sand that turns into a giant campsite in summer. There is only one exchange office on the island, no bank for the moment. Take enough cash with you so as not to run out of money, keeping in mind that when the sea moves, you are stuck (the Scopelitis stays in port). In case of extreme emergency, you can change money (cash only) at the private tourist office, but it is not very advantageous.
