On the road to Delphi, 30 km from the sanctuary, it is a real favourite. Galaxidi is a small coastal town particularly picturesque whose inhabitants take such care that you will not see a single building in height that disturbs the environment. The charm of Galaxidi lies in the perfect balance between relatively unobtrusive tourism and the beauty of the surrounding seafront, beaches and mountains. A former shipyard destroyed in 1821, Galaxidi has retained a semblance of this tradition and many craftsmen are busy among the fishermen on the seafront. From Naupacte, the coast offers a succession of beautiful villages.
