Very wild, they can be discovered on an excursion from Kalavrita or Diakofto. The route is part of the European long-distance hiking trail E4 (count 6 hours of walking uphill, and 7 to 8 hours downhill). You will then follow the tracks of a small suspended train that winds between the gorges and connects the two cities. The monastery of Mega Spileon can be discovered halfway, it is very far on foot from the Mega Spileon train station. You can therefore visit it by car from one of the two cities: park the car at Mega Spileon and take the train on the Mega Spileon-Diakofto-Méga Spileon section, by far the most beautiful and typical.
