To the east of Veliki Tabor, although the village has only about 90 inhabitants, it is nevertheless known to be home to Miljana Castle The latter dates from the seventeenth century and was reworked until the nineteenth century, then renovated in the 1980s. The visit is interesting both for the baroque interior decoration and the murals by the Slovenian rococo painter Anton Lerchinger (18th century).
