Located on the north coast, the little port is served by the D111. It is the oldest village on the coast, with its first houses built in the 17th century at the foot of the sanctuary of Marie-des-Pins. Stomorska is also the island's oldest port, dating back to the 16th century. It is also possible to sail from Stomorska to Split by catamaran. The 250 inhabitants live mainly from fishing, but also from tourism. In summer, organized fishermen's nights have contributed to the village's convivial reputation. Nearby are a number of charming, secluded coves. Ideal for a peaceful stopover.
