Located 223 km from Buenos Aires, it is one of the favorite weekend destinations for Porteños. On the banks of the Gualeguaychú and Uruguay rivers, it has beautiful white sand beaches. Quieter than the Atlantic coast, the city does not have a great tourist interest, but allows to rest from the road. The city is also famous for its carnival, the most important of the country, which attracts a lot of people. In January and February, the whole country watches the glitter, feathers and costumes of the carnival dancers who set the overheated arena of the Corsodromo on fire. So remember to book your accommodation in advance!
