Located 95 km northwest of Fray Bentos, this town of 2,000 people is worth visiting for its rather unusual cultural character. Join the town meeting called "Sabraña", where people gather on Sundays to drink tea... and vodka! Otherwise, go to the restaurant on the main street where you can taste Russian specialties such as kúas (honey wine) and chachlik (skewers). July 29 is marked by the celebration of the arrival of settlers, which includes period horses and carts, dance performances, handicraft and traditional food booths.
