This national park, created in 1965, is located on the RN 14, north of Colón and covers more than 8000 hectares. In the region it is also known as the "Palmar Grande de Colón". It is the last reduction of yatay palms (which once covered all of Entre Ríos), which can reach a height of up to 25 m, and can live up to 800 years. During short and easy walks, on pleasant paths surrounded by palm groves, you will get a glimpse of the typical flora and fauna of the area: more than 150 species of birds, including rheas and partridges, mammals such as otters and carpinchos. Dawn and dusk are the best times to meet these animals.
