A small village of some 400 souls, Dobrovo has always been an obligatory crossing point between Italy, the Friuli Plain, and the Soča Valley. A pleasant walk during which you will not miss the castle, dating from 1600. Brda is not Tuscany or Provence, it has its own identity probably thanks to the mixture of three cultures: Slavic, Romanesque and Germanic. Thanks also to the picturesque landscapes, the quality of its viticulture, its aesthetic agriculture and the hospitality of its inhabitants, this region is worth a long stop. Allow at least four days to properly immerse yourself in its world.
