A small island of 7,000 inhabitants located in the Lower Keys, Little Torch Key offers a peaceful atmosphere only 40 minutes from Key West. It takes its name from a native tree, the Torchwood. Here you won't find many stores, bars and entertainment, but you will get the basics: reasonably priced accommodations for the Keys, a restaurant overlooking the bay with live music and nice views.
