Kinneret is a kibbutz located south of Lake Tiberias. His name is also that given to the lake in Hebrew. It was founded in 1913, shortly after Degania Alef. It houses the baptismal site of Yardenit but also the tomb of one of the major Israeli poétesses, Rachel Bluwstein (1890-1931), known as Rachel.
