Kibbutz Heftziba was founded in 1922 by Czechoslovak and German immigrants. He is adjacent to Kibbutz Beit Alfa. There is an ancient synagogue dating back to the century. In spite of the name given to it (the synagogue of Bet Alfa), this synagogue is located in Heftziba.
