In the tradition of Lyon's comptoirs, Le Fer à Cheval has a number of remarkable features. The first is that it opened its U-shaped counter, hence the name, in 1970 at the entrance to Les Halles de Lyon, which was not yet called Paul Bocuse, a year before it even opened to serve construction workers. A quality bar and snack bar in a place where everyone, workers and visitors, mingle around the 360° open counter. A friendly team, eager to welcome you with a glass of wine or a delicious croque-monsieur, one of the company's specialities. The "village square" of Les Halles.

Service
Like all the hotels in the markets of Lyon, the dishes are very high-qualities. The prices are very attractive for the place. Special mention for the croque monsieur, I rarely enjoyed the also good!
