LES HALLES
Read moreGreen wall, vintage lampshade, stree-art painting on slate, etc. And still those trees that grow in the restaurant! Just for the atmosphere, this contemporary brasserie is worth a visit. We come to share an aperitif and tapas at the counter before going to the table. The terrace is a godsend and the room amazing with a beautiful ceiling height like a winter garden. A la carte, quite traditional, beautiful salads, gargantuan planks, burgers prepared with excellent meat and served with homemade fries, grilled meats, or even sauerkraut in winter or fish brochettes in summer. It's fast, fun and efficient!
CAFÉ BANCEL
Read moreIt is one of the trendiest coffees in Valencia. A reference, a place of relaxation, celebration, meetings, the headquarters of many Valentines for an informal meeting, a moment of work with Wifi, all in all a very lively place. The terrace on the main boulevards is particularly pleasant, as is the warm lounge area with its dimmed lights, low tables and comfortable benches in winter. We settle down there to have a drink or eat in a friendly and friendly atmosphere. We like the lounge side of Le Bancel in accordance with its flawless cocktail menu, its iced smoothies and its bar in Nespresso. The house offers tapas that can be found at the entrance to the restaurant's menu. The dishes of the day are full of freshness with a hint of exoticism. It's not gastronomy but the quality is there, especially with tartars and burgers. Evenings hosted by local DJs. The service team is always very friendly and yet there is no shortage of work! In summer, there is also an ice cream menu made in France, and in winter, an oyster and shellfish bar. The Saturday suggestion is always tempting, like that Saturday the whole wolf in his wallet with small seasonal vegetables. Perfect! Perfect!
LA LICORNE
Read moreNot confused with the bookshop of the same name located in the pedestrian centre and dedicated to the comic strip. In a quiet street close to Valencia train station, this lounge restaurant is set on several levels and has a terrace in a very pleasant courtyard. Cosy and trendy garden, delicate kitchen. As a common denominator, fresh and most often local products. Quality products are highlighted: duck, Noix nuts, charolais beef. This address does not end up searching. She now proposes a tapas wine bar formula. Choose from a glass of wine, arranged rums, cocktails and beer. And to nibble tapas composed of fresh and seasonal products, land, sea or plancha. A traditional restoration also remains on the map.

LA STRADA
Read moreThis Italian-style address is part of Valencia's gastronomic landscape. It is recognizable by its immense brick facade. The menu is varied and tasty: creamy risotto with boletus mushrooms, linguine with seafood and scallops, grilled lamb chop, eggplant gratin, beef carpaccio parmesan and arugula, veal tournedos with truffle juice. And of course light and well-filled pizzas, and large generous salads with a touch of originality. We sit down in a beautiful old-fashioned room or on the superb terrace to enjoy the noise of the night. We regret that the welcome is not very smiling and the service is really too slow. Too bad.
TOASTICHO
Read moreToasticho is a bit of the canteen of the employees of the trade zone Des. Half way between the snack and the tea lounge, you can set up in a large bright room or on a small terrace overlooking Vercors, sheltered from the ballet of cars and shoppeurs. The reception is always adorable. The content of a slightly more variable base. Servings are copious. On the map, breakfasts, large salads, several variations around the Ravioles of Romans and some dishes typical bistro. All day, you can order crêpes pancakes, waffles and coffees. A simple address for a quick meal or a craving for sweet.

L'ART TERRE
Read moreIn the Auréats artisanal area, at the exit of Valence towards Crest, this warm address is hardly dedicated to tourists, but is worth a visit to enjoy a friendly atmosphere and a table full of flavours and freshness. Only downside, at lunch it's crowded and we wait a little, but always with a smiling and attentive service. At noon, it is the canteen for local workers, delivery workers and representatives. In the evening, residents of nearby hotels that do not have a restaurant appreciate this gourmet table where fresh produce is processed in the traditional brasserie tradition. It's copious and well presented. The room is pleasant, high under the ceiling, the water wall on Buddha's head is a success, the small terrace is appreciated from the sunny days. Upstairs it's quieter. It doesn't feel like being in the suburbs at all, but in a trendy and friendly restaurant. Test the pie chart. A delight! Here we serve tartars, hamburgers, ribs, cassolettes and seasonal dishes. That day on the menu: fish rillettes on toast, lentils/sausage and caramel cream. Simple and efficient!
