Friendly restaurant offering Afro-Caribbean cuisine.
It is a woman of Cameroonian origin who opened this nice restaurant which makes us travel to the West Indies. L'Envie offers Afro-Caribbean cuisine. On the menu, dishes adapted to the season and seasoned with spices from Africa or the islands: grilled fish, vegetables with peanuts, mafé, yassa chicken, pork chops à la camerounaise, West Indian blood sausage, colombo, carry... All very tasty and generous. As for the atmosphere, it is warm. You can eat in the small room or on the terrace corner. The dishes can be eaten on the spot or taken away. Regularly dance evenings are scheduled. A festive atmosphere is guaranteed!

La nourriture est très bonne c'est certain. Nous avons cependant attendu plus d'1h30 pour nos plats qui sont arrivés... sans riz !! Ils n'avaient pas eu le temps de le faire... en 90minutes. Nous avons donc dû manger nos plats sans l'accompagnement. La propriétaire'indique que je peux manger ma sauce gombo avec les 3 morceaux de patates et 3 morceaux de plantain en attendant le riz!
C'est décevant et vraiment dommage ce manque de professionnalisme.

Petit resto sympa sur la route de retour des vacances. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les plats (colombo de poulet et maffé) qui nous ont fait découvrir de nouvelles saveurs delicieuses . Un bémol pour le dessert et en particulier la crème brûlée qui n'en était pas une. Liquide et d'un goût indéfinissable. La tarte aux pommes était bonne en revanche. Sinon accueil chaleureux et convivial. On a passé un très bon moment.
