A bipolar commune ? Chanos-Curson is a single commune that contains two with their respective histories, their differences and now their shared territory. The whole spreads over 818 hectares, surrounded by orchards and vineyards, and some 1,082 inhabitants are counted (2018). This large village deserves to be discovered. If you stop there, don't miss the 19th century neo-Gothic church, but also the famous castle, named after the Lady, a nod to Diane de Poitiers (renovated until 1989 in a modern style), the former stronghold known as Château de Conflans built by Jean de Conflans in the 15th century.
