An agricultural commune in the Ain between Bourg-en-Bresse and Mâcon, famous for its poultry, as two of the commune's breeders regularly win the highest distinctions in this field at the famous Glorieuses de Bresse. As part of the Urban Community of the Bourg-en-Bresse Basin, the rural town of Curtafond is crossed by many marked hiking trails and mountain bike trails more or less difficult (most of the departures are at the base of recreation of the Plaine Tonique). To see: a Romanesque church of the XIIth century and a Gothic calvary of the XVIth century registered with the historical monuments.
