The Champoléon valley, where the hamlet of Les Borels is located, is without doubt one of the wildest and most authentic, yet still accessible to man, of the Ecrins National Park. The pastoralism continues its way, perfectly accommodating a tourism respectful of the environment. Chamois and ibexes often frequent the valley and can be observed. You can discover some of the valley's treasures on the website www.champoleonecrins.com. The Auberge des Ecrins is open to comfortably welcome the truly curious mountain dwellers, who will also be able to eat at this address of good local products.
