At the foot of the famous Izoard pass, so much appreciated and feared by amateur and professional cyclists, the village and its 13 hamlets make up the Arvieux valley, also called the Val d'Azur. A place that breathes authenticity with mountain chalets and traditions that are still present, such as cheese making and woodworking. In Arvieux, you will notice the practical side of the buildings, with arcaded houses facing south, to take advantage of the 300 days of sunshine that the Queyras gets on average in a year. Downhill and cross-country skiing in winter, via ferrata, climbing and mountain biking in summer towards the famous Casse Déserte.
