A curious village perched on a rocky ridge at an altitude of 1,000 metres. The fort overlooking Rimplas, built in the 1930s, is unfinished. It has several underground levels and was to be a key part of the defensive system of the Franco-Italian border. The castle, built in the 12th century, was destroyed by wars and a total fire in the 18th century. The Saint-Honorat church, baroque, was redesigned in a rather unfortunate way. Its bell tower is not of the period. Inside, the vaults are decorated with baroque motifs, and one can admire a 17th century altarpiece and paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries.
