Built in local stone, the dark red houses of the old village of Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée are worth a visit. The church of Saint-Michel-Archange, built in the 14th century, has been restored and redesigned several times. Its bell tower is pyramidal. Inside, you can admire several altarpieces : of the Transfiguration, of the Virgin, of the altar of the Rosary, but also a reliquary of Saint Blaise and several objects of worship : processional cross, chalices and ciboria complete the treasure of this church. The chapel of the white penitents houses a portrait of King Louis XIII.
