With its forests of acacia and chestnut trees, the village of Orches is the starting point of nice walks allowing to discover its church Saint-Hilaire whose portal and seigniorial chapel are classified as historical monuments. You can then go to the place called "Beauregard" where you will find the famous Caillou de Saint-Martin (6000 years to 4000 years BC), a neolithic polishing stone used to sharpen tools and weapons. Legend has it that Saint Martin, passing through this place on a Sunday, punished the peasants who were harvesting on this holy day by turning their sheaves of wheat into stone
