Located only about ten kilometers southeast of the city of Amiens, the town of Bertangles enjoys a beautiful setting with its surrounding forests and its green surroundings that promise beautiful walks. This village of about 1000 inhabitants, close to the river Somme, will seduce lovers of nature and country life. During the First World War, it was the scene of several bloody battles, as evidenced by the memorials installed in the village. Also, its imposing castle dating from the 18th century was the headquarters of the Australian General Staff, then allied with France during the First World War.
