The town of Saint-Omer-en-Chaussée in the department of Oise, not to be confused with the town of Saint-Omer in the Pas-de-Calais, is home to the very pretty Château de Monceaux. This charming private property built in the 18th century has been classified as a historical monument since 1970. Ask the tourist office for a visit! During your stop in this small village of 1 200 inhabitants, stop at the Saint-Omer church, built in the 16th century. The village is also known for its numerous mills. You can also see a disused building that once housed an industrial dairy.
