The small village of Fossoy, located on the southern slopes of the Marne valley, has 530 inhabitants since the last census. Two historical monuments are listed here: the road cross and the church of Saint-Georges (listed in 1903), dating from the 13th century, whose old stones have managed to defy the vicissitudes of time and men.
