The small village of Lacrouzette is the capital of Sidobre and the granite workers. Here, men and nature have always lived to the rhythm of granite, which shapes its landscapes with splendour and power. On these green plains, nature has shaped incredible granite masses, including the Peyro Clabado (780 tons balanced on a narrow base), the Goose Rock, the Three Cheeses, the Chaos of the Resse... An impressive and elegant material, it has also been subject to the hand of Man. Thus, the sculptors of the Tarn used granite for various aesthetic constructions, like the Romanesque fountain of Théron.
