Located on the thermal road, Xertigny is the capital of the Vôge region, and was the beer capital before its breweries closed. The recent Musik-Fabrik-Xerpils festival, dedicated to beer and music, bears witness to this. Note the remains of a Templar house, converted into a priory in the 14th century. The church of Sainte-Valburge, burnt down during the war and now restored, boasts a 12th- and 16th-century tower-porch and a number of artistic treasures. The commune abounds in hiking and mountain-biking trails, a beautiful waterfall and outdoor leisure activities. Xertigny welcomes you to stay in a beautiful guest house or in one of the Woodies.
