Town hall overlooking a beautiful park, the only remaining witness to Xertigny's brewing past
In 1977, the commune of Xertigny bought the castle from a rich brewer as well as its 4 ha park. It will become a town hall that does not lack character in 1981. Overlooking a beautiful park, it really does not lack elegance. It is the only remaining witness to Xertigny's brewing past. It is on the ruins of the old castle of Orémus that was built by Victor Champion, brewer of the city. The brewery closed its doors for good in 1966 and was then bought by the town which installed its services there.
