The town of Tomblaine, part of the Greater Nancy conurbation, is defined by its many lakes and rivers, including of course the Meurthe. You can enjoy a wide range of water sports, including rowing. But it's also fertile ground for flora and fauna, from the ornithological trail to the Ile aux oies, home to over 400 species of birds. Tomblaine is also a very sporting town, with the Maison régionale des Sports, the Lido swimming pool and the famous Marcel Picot stadium, inaugurated in 1926 and home to the AS Nancy-Lorraine soccer team. Major matches are organized here.
