Village of the former Duchy of Lorraine, Malzéville is a green city between the plateau of Malzéville, classified Natura 2000, and the Meurthe. It is part of the Greater Nancy area. This very dense town has about 286,000 inhabitants and is one of the areas of attraction of Greater Nancy which is certainly worth a visit. Among the points of attraction are the castle of Pixerécourt built in 1860, the Douëra, a residence inspired by the Orient, classified as a historical monument since 1993, and the Arborétum de l'Abiétinée. Many religious buildings, including the Saint-Martin church with its beautiful paintings, are also worth seeing.
