It is a wine-growing village with 700 inhabitants, the cellar of which brings together some thirty winemakers. The gravelly terroir-clay, stony soil gives wines whose tannins are affirmed on the reds. Some of the surrounding areas visit, vineyards and wine cellars, among which the Rossignol area (04 68 38 83 17) presents its wines, côtes-du-roussillon, muscat de Rivesaltes, Rivesaltes amber and tuilé and garnet. The tasting cellar serves as a place of exposure. To see the surroundings, the chapel Saint-Luc, very sober, on a rocky outcrop from where the view is exceptional. The site was the theatre of the Battle of the Boulou (1793-1794). And a few years ago, this corner of Aspres was known to the miners who exploited the rivers, looking for nuggets, garnet and quartz.
