At the foot of the Aspres mountains, halfway between Thuir and Le Boulou, Tresserre is a small village of 1,000 inhabitants that lives to the rhythm of the vine and its Witches' Festival, celebrated every year at the end of October. The festival of the Bruixes puts the village in effervescence during two days: shows, workshops, concerts, tales... A few kilometers from there towards the south, a marked path leads you on the traces of the Battle of the Boulou, whose furious fights upset the region in 1794. The site called Pla del Rey, the highest point of the commune, is decorated with didactic panels and an orientation table of historical, geographical and strategic character.
