Manduel is located southeast of Nîmes, near Provence. 87% of the land is given over to viticulture and arboriculture. The railroad arrived in Manduel in 1849. In 1926, the Cave Coopérative Viticole was founded, and the local wine is protected by the AOC Costières de Nîmes appellation, as it is on the private property of Campuget, which is well known in the region and has its own cellar. You can also admire Antonin le Pieux's milestone on the Via Domitia, a listed historic monument. Since 2020, the impressive new Nîmes/Pont du Gard TGV station has been in operation, with an 8-minute shuttle service to Nîmes central station.
