Just a few kilometers from Provins, this village boasts a rich and surprising past. Likely occupied as early as the Mesolithic period, it became an important Gallo-Roman town, situated along the Via Agrippa linking Boulogne-sur-Mer, Lyon and Milan. Archaeological digs have revealed the importance of the site, with its residential quarters, theater, temples and water sanctuaries. Every year, during the European Heritage Days, it's time to take stock of the situation with the volunteers, who are happy to explain the progress of their work and show off some of their finds, all with passion and good humor.
