Melisey lies on the edge of the pond region. Visit the church of Saint-Pierre, where excavations have revealed ancient foundations and astonishing sarcophagi. It is thought to have been founded in the time of Saint Colomban. It is a listed monument, and one of its parts is inspired by the Romanesque style of the 12th century. The tourist office's calendar of events also includes a wide range of activities linked to the village's associative life (concerts, exhibitions, sports...). Melisey is also the home village of Thibaut Pinot, a well-known cycling champion. The shopkeepers are all fans, and we understand!
