The town lies on the banks of the Loue near the Osselle caves. Since its bypass, Quingey has breathed new life into itself. Visit the old town center to discover the remains of the city's rich past, with its towers, including the one where Pope Calixtus II was born. Have lunch at the Hôtel de la Truite or the Café de l'Hôtel de Ville. A privileged site occupied since the5th century, its first inhabitants gave it the name Quigney, meaning "the beautiful stay". Under Louis XV, the left bank was planted with plane trees and became "Les Promenades", like the town's campsite. Take advantage of your stay here to try your hand at canoeing.
