It's a charming village in the hollow of a valley, reminiscent of a Swiss village. It's a great place to get back into shape and take in the sights: the invigorating Lison spring, the 90-metre-high Sarrasine cave, the Verneau cave and numerous belvederes. You can stay in Nans in a gîte or hotel to enjoy its gastronomy: the cheese dairy produces Comtois specialities, and beekeeping is not to be outdone with the Ruchers du Lison. Follow the hillside road to Crouzet-Migette. It's a stroll up to the Saut du Diable, an impressive sheer drop. You'll be delighted to rest at the inn of the same name.
