Senonches is located in the heart of the Perche regional nature park, on the edge of the national forest. The surrounding area offers a privileged natural setting, such as the Bénette ponds on the road to La Ferté-Vidame. A town of charm and character, not far from the town center, you'll find a lake that's great for fishing and a park where it's pleasant to stroll. You can also visit the Château de Senonches. In the permanent exhibition "Forêt d'histoires", you can learn more about the forest environment and the links that people have always had with it, right up to the present day. The visit continues with the woodland trail.
