Since its creation in 1951, Al Vagon has passed the torch to the third generation of the family, prolonging traditional Venetian cuisine based on seafood and crustaceans. Al Vagon is accessible by a large porch overlooking the canal, near the Saint-Apostles Bridge. The decoration oscillates between classic and rustic, a successful combination that makes the places warm and welcoming. With its 100 indoor seats and 60 outdoor seats, it is able to meet all the needs of a large clientele, such as the banquet organization. Al Vagon offers recipes from local cuisine, meat and fresh fish. The menu is relatively small, but there's no such thing as too much when the quality is top-notch. The dining room is neat, sober and contemporary, and the atmosphere charming. And there are very few restaurants in Venice where you can sit down after 10.30pm. A good address, in short, that we recommend. On the downside, reservations are recommended.

Who knows, maybe it's the international pop playlist that will get you in. This new establishment has two rooms decorated with a mix of traditional and modern. Many pictures of drivers and racing cars line the walls, as well as an amazing bright red hood from an old Ferrari berlinetta... The reception is rather nice and the service very efficient. The cuisine is homemade and the dishes are prepared with refinement, like the specialities of pasta, ravioli and lasagna served in large designer-looking pôelons.
