CASTLE OF THE SENLISSE COURT
Read moreThis castle, private property registered in the inventory of historical monuments, opens its doors only for seminars and other receptions. What a pity. The wooded area hides an enchanting décor, the courtyard side as a garden side. The castle has retained the four-block plan of the Middle Ages, which is 45 m apart, dotted with a moat and stretched by 4 towers, the most important - and the oldest - date of the th century. In 1399, the sources mentioned a special hotel in these places. The communes were reworked in the th century, the main body was reworked and rebuilt in the th century and stretches on two floors, under a steep climb covered with ancient tiles. A fonte et and glass complemented the park.

Read moreA novelty published by the communication service of the tourist office of Versailles! No need to break the head to trace history among maps and books, the city of Versailles condensed in this booklet the 11 addresses indispensable to know the whole history of Human Rights, step by step, with for each place a very complete description of the historical events that took place there. France is known throughout the world as the homeland of human rights, and it was in Versailles in August 1789 that this founding act was adopted. It is indeed at the Hotel des Menus-Plaisirs in the Building District that this Declaration was passed. Once your book is in hand, you go along the lines of this constitutional act: the itinerary begins at 5, rue de l'Independence (at the Hotel des affaires Etrangères), the American war of independence and France's commitment in this conflict which brought to the minds of humanist ideas: democracy, freedom of peoples to self-determination… Salle du Jeu de De, Saint Louis Cathedral, street crossings, Lambinet Museum - the book and course end at the place de les Château du Château, historic place where a fairly adventurous history between the Republic and the Roy: The iténéraire will let you know, we must not say too much!
