The Atlantic garden, covering the tracks of the Montparnasse train station in Paris.
Surrounded and limited by the impressive blocks of flats that border the railway tracks, this large garden covers the tracks of the Montparnasse station! It rests on a slab supported by twelve arch piers since 1994. In the center of its large lawn is the "Island of the Hesperides", a strange installation that consists of weather measuring instruments and a large mirror, which illuminates a pool. On either side of this lawn are planted trees that grow on the European and American shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

Un jardin bien caché
Un jardin agréable juste au-dessus de la gare Montparnasse qui permet d'attendre le train dans un endroit agréable et reposant. Le problème est qu'il n'est pas facile d'accès et difficile à trouver malgré les indications.

Agréable mais caché
Un joli jardin qui permet de faire quelque pas en pleine verdure en étant à 2 pas de la gare Montparnasse. L'accès n'est pas aisé, j'ai toujours du mal à trouver l'entrée.
