Office of the Cyprus National Tourist Office in Paris, within the Cyprus Embassy in France. Useful information in French.
The Cyprus National Tourist Board has offices in twenty countries (USA, UK, Belgium, Switzerland...). The one in France is in Paris, within the Cyprus embassy, which also houses the Greek consulate general (flags of the two countries on the facade). Closed in 2019, the office reopened here in 2023 with lots of useful information in French. The aim is to attract more French visitors to the southern part of the island, to compensate for the drop in Russian clientele caused by the war in Ukraine.

Wer ein Visum braucht und sich hier bei dieser unhöflichen und respektlosen Dame (Mitarbeiterin) melden muss, der muss wirklich nerven haben. Die E-Mails werden erst nach 1-2 Wochen beantwortet und meistens unverständlich!
Telefonisch gibt die respektlose Dame keine Auskunft, sie hat uns sogar am Telefon angeschrien und einfach aufgelegt.
Wir mussten deswegen sogar nach Paris reisen (von Basel aus), da wir die nötigen Informationen weder per Mail noch telefonisch erhielten. Auch dort war die gleiche Dame an der Front und hat uns wie Dreck behandelt.
Resultat = Personen mit türkischer Staatsangehörigkeit bekommen kein Visum für die Landung in Larnaca, falls ein Hotel auf der türkischen Seite gebucht wurde!
Schade für Zypern, dass die Botschaft von so einer Mitarbeiterin vertreten wird.
