Located in the heart of the Cotentin and Bessin marshes, behind the German military cemetery of La Cambe, the apple trees with high and low stems occupy 19 hectares of the Romilly Orchards. Established as a family for more than forty years, these harvesting producers have rediscovered the cider of the Isigny region, which was very famous at the beginning of the last century - the very famous Isigny cider was, in fact, once sent to Paris on the best tables, just like butter and cream. Ciders are made from local varieties such as Cartigny, Doux Verret de Carrouges, Marin Onfroy, Gros Bois de Bayeux according to precise blends that give them a particular aroma, a "straw yellow" colour and a taste that is unique to it. Nothing is left to chance in the manufacturing process. No medals, no prizes here: the quality and regularity are enough for the reputation of this cider, which gives birth to the house's no less famous calvados and pommeau (AOC). To choose according to the moment, your tastes and dishes among the panoply: the bitter raw, the raw (rounder in the mouth), the semi-dry and the sweet. Nice! Nice! The 33 cl can, ideal for the little ones, is a treasure among other treasures that we let you discover!

This place is simply perfect for eating, relaxing, socialising and even working. At La Mie Paulette, we are not only in a bakery, but in a real place of life where we feel at home. Pauline and Franck knew how to make these 500^m2 warm, and our visit at Christmas literally made us travel. As for the artisanal products, breads, cakes, and their specialty "Trobons" of Alice are already a treat for the eyes. Not to mention the pizzas cooked in an oven from Verona!

Some people can travel dozens of kilometres to get it: we are talking about the real, unique Belval-Gare sausage. The butcher's shop offers, in addition to particularly delicious meats and cold cuts, a sausage made on the spot, whose ancestral recipe with onions gives it an incomparable flavour. Tasting them is a small pleasure that you will not forget. Finally, note that a second store exists in Coutances, near the city centre.

Pasquier & Co, welcome to Anaïs and Fabian! Breads, viennoiseries, but also modern, homemade cakes and creative proposals. You'll find panettone, éclair au chocolat, poire Tatin, tarti'Brest and Pomme Surprise. This shortbread tart, filled with a brunoise of fruit paste and hazelnut cream, is topped with white chocolate ganache and applesauce. The whole is decorated with vanilla chantilly and a little gold leaf on top. This cake, created for their appearance on M6, is a real treat!

But Frésil Marée also offers magnificent seafood platters (with several options to choose from). As you'll have gathered, Frésil Marée is one of the town's leading restaurants, with a catering service that includes seafood paella, stuffed prawns and other seafood dishes available on the spot or to order. The Biscuiterie de Quinéville in Saint-Vaast, with its pretty store stocked daily, offers not only wonderful cakes, but also a number of local products that we love. There's also a tea room where you can enjoy pastries overlooking the harbour. We particularly like the terrace in summer. Special mention for the caramels, some of the best in the area. Give in to temptation and you'll never regret it!

Since 1957 when it was established in Louviers, Maison Clet has never stopped thinking bigger. It can now be found at numbers 4 to 8 of the same street, in a sumptuous and spacious space that offers a wide range of wines and spirits and all the best of the delicatessen. In addition to the thousand wines on offer, you will find nearly four hundred whiskies, rums, cognacs and calvados to suit all tastes, as well as a fine selection of foies gras, truffles, chocolates, jams, teas... Norman products are naturally given pride of place.

It's the whooping cough of the moment. Mazzoni is a know-how mastered by two young people who have just settled in and are hitting the ground running. Their creation, Le Pebble, is all the rage: grey like those on the beach just a stone's throw away, but so tasty. May he who has never committed the sin of greediness throw away the first pebble! You can enjoy it on the spot, in a deliciously old-fashioned and white setting, where you can take everything with you...

In early 2020, during the first confinement, a new project was born in Commes in the Bessin region, between Bayeux and the D-Day beaches. L'Arbre, an agri-cultural third place, is the result of the strong ties that exist in the small commune. From now on, one and the same place will bring together agriculture and culture. Inspiring!

On the agricultural side: Le Jardin de Deux'Main. A word of advice: take the time to stroll and smell the countryside before heading off to Port-en-Bessin. Stop off at Guillaume's! Passion and love, agroecology, no-till market gardening on living soil, agroforestry and permaculture are just some of the ingredients of his philosophy, and of his nearly three hectares of garden. The result: tasty fruit and vegetables. The market gardener is just like his garden: both delicate and generous. And don't forget the fresh eggs from his mini-farm. On the cultural side: Tiers-Lieu L'Arbre. A place open to all (workshops, gatherings and events online). A perfect stopover for cyclists following the Vélomaritime or the cycle route from the D-Day landing beaches to Mont-Saint-Michel, the farm also offers self-catering accommodation. Guests share the communal living areas, cooking and eating together! And soon, a large auditorium, an associative café and a coworking space will see the light of day! It's an innovative place that advocates a collective approach: one to watch, as it evolves at great speed.

Wheat flour crushed on a stone millstone, farm baguettes, breads, pastries, cookies... Le Moulin de Thibo et Caro is all this at the same time. Step by step, our two young farmers-bakers have made their business grow, climbing the steps of their ladder (of miller, of course!) by dint of work and talent.

Beer enthusiasts all know this place with an easy-to-remember name: Beerz. Here, no less than 500 references of beer, 30 of cider, and about twenty references of spirits are proposed to you by Christelle, the mistress of the place. It is possible to taste on the spot, inside or on the terrace, with or without boards. The place, which aims to be a beer academy, also proposes workshops around the famous beverage, all in an educational and pleasant atmosphere. A choice and advice of great quality, we validate!

At the Vatelier family, the whole family is involved. While Benoît reigns supreme in the laboratory, Marie-Pierre is in charge of the shop. With a very sure taste, she takes particular care of the presentation of the products. An ideal setting to enhance salted butter caramels, the house's flagship products, but also apricot almond pies, three chocolates or pistachio strawberry... Not to mention cakes, desserts, macaroons, golden buns, raspberry farandoles and the famous chocolate cake or round or heart-shaped "travel cake", which literally melts in your mouth and is a hit with lovers throughout the city.
